We have a great opportunity for a Procurement & Inventory Coordinator to join our dedicated team based onsite at Parklea Correctional Centre.

**ABOUT YOUR NEW ROLE**

The Procurement & Inventory Coordinator is responsible for the day to day procurement and inventory activity, reconciliation, and stock management for MTC Australia, on the Parklea Correctional Centre site.

**In your new role, you will**:

- Manage warehouse operations, including monthly rostering, daily task assignments, recruitment, safety discussions (toolbox talks), and reporting
- Ensure timely procurement and receipt of high-quality and cost-effective equipment and supplies
- Create and manage a 28-day roster, assign daily tasks, conduct toolbox talks, and communicate effectively to achieve desired outcomes
- Maintain cost-effective inventory levels and oversee stock rotation
- Monitor staffing levels to support efficient warehouse operations
- Ensure the availability of sufficient and high-quality inventory to meet the facility's needs

**ABOUT YOU**:
As a Procurement & Inventory Coordinator, you are detail-oriented, organised, flexible, proactive, personable, and skilled at prioritising tasks to meet strict deadlines, distinguishing between urgent and important matters. You demonstrate the ability to perform physical tasks to a high standard and effectively contribute as a team member on the warehouse floor when needed.

**To be successful, you will**:

- Need certification in Procurement / Logistics / Inventory and or demonstrated experience
- Need previous demonstrated experience in a similar role in a correctional or institutional environment is necessary
- Gain and retain all police/security clearances required within our industry.
- Pass any required health assessments.
- Work within an immigration centre.
- Travel interstate when required to meet business needs.
- Provide proof of double vaccination against Covid-19 with a vaccine recognised in Australia.
- Undergo alcohol and drug testing as required by the business.
