**Your Opportunity**

As a HR Specialist and Business Partner, you will join a high-performing, close-knit team of HR professionals who work hard, have fun and enjoy a flexible working environment. We are passionate in working to our vision to give every child the best start in life Thus, this role is pivotal to supporting and servicing our staff nationally to ensure the safety of our Hive.

Together our People and Culture team support 3,000 Team Members nationally therefore this is a fast-paced, engaging, demanding but very rewarding role where no two (2) days will be the same. You will in turn be supported and encouraged by an amazing highly knowledgeable, flexible leadership team.

This is a full-time opportunity based in Nundah.

**Your Challenge and Impact at Busy Bees**

As the P&C Business Partner, you will be providing front-line generalist industrial and employment relations advice and support across a large portfolio. You will report on and partner with the People and Culture Manager.
- Be the first point of contact for all HR, People and Culture inquiries for team members and leaders in your client group.
- Providing generalist advice, supporting employee life cycle activity and programs.
- Support employee engagement and culture initiatives, projects and events.
- Undertake a variety of administrative and reporting activities related to people and culture activity and project implementation.
- Create and coordinate internal communications as required.
- Prepare and review policy, procedure, work instructions and create short training sessions.
- Excellent communication skills - demonstrating the ability to connect and partner with Leadership and Operational teams located across the country.

**Your Skills and Experience**:

- Completed tertiary education in Human Resources or similar.
- Sector experience not necessary.
- Previous experience in highly regulated work environments will be highly regarded.
- Demonstrate a working knowledge of ER/IR including award interpretation, employment legislation and people "know-how" with regard to managing cases and mentoring leaders to manage people.
- Demonstrated experience in leading formal and informal grievances and performance management matters, managing the process through to outcome.
- High-level attention to detail, effective time management, and prioritisation skills.
- Excellent coordination and organisational skills.
- Experience of working in a busy HR/P&C operations role - the ability to prioritise your day quickly and easily whilst managing up.
- A current Working With Children Check (or the ability to attain one) will be required.
