**About the Opportunity**

Reporting to the P&C Manager, this position works as part of a close-knit team who work together to deliver a full range of People & Culture initiatives, programs, and services in line with our organisational objectives. This position presents the unique opportunity to develop and grow knowledge and skills in both a not-for-profit and local government environment, working with state-based legislation. This is an exciting, fast-paced position, covering a large variety of people and culture functions. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Partnering with and providing advice to managers of all levels
- Recruitment, selection, and induction
- WHS; incident and hazard management, and wellbeing program
- Rehabilitation and Return to Work
- Performance management and IR matters
- Policies, procedures, and position descriptions
- Support with EA negotiations
- Support with workforce planning
- Reporting and compliance as required

**About You**
- Minimum 12 months experience in a Business Partnering/Advisory role
- A consistent, balanced, and best practice approach to people matters
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent time management and organisation skills

You must also be willing to obtain a National Police Certificate before commencing employment as well as a functional assessment.
