**The role**

At the forefront of the industry, Origin is leading the charge with renewables and technology. You'll be part of a dynamic and vibrant commercial team working closely with the Contracts Manager, Senior Contract Specialist to provide support and assistance with the negotiation, execution, governance and administration of minor contracts for the Generation Asset Management and Development.

The role will assist and support with the preparation and co-ordination of bid documentation for government and private sector development projects.

**More about the role**:

- Support and assist with development, procurement, negotiation, governance and execution of minor contracts using Origin standard templates to support projects (e.g CAs, MSAs, Works Orders, Service Orders).
- Support and assist with the development of strategic procurement activities for the delivery of complex bespoke projects for the Generation Asset Management and Development Team
- Assist with due diligence reviews, project evaluation and proposal development for potential project acquisitions.
- Support and assist with bid response packages and co-ordinate tenders/development opportunities associated with the Generation and Development Team projects.

**More about you**:

- Superior oral and written communication skills.
- Well-developed analytical, investigation and problem-solving skills.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills including the capacity to build relationships with internal and external contacts across a wide range of disciplines and viewpoints
- Knowledge of and demonstrated experience in the development, administration and execution of minor contracts in a construction, energy industry or related industry.
- Experience in negotiating and drafting simple contracts using template agreements.
- Proficient with SAP, Ariba, MS Office, Sharepoint, Onedrive and MS Teams.
