**About the Role**

We are looking for an Internal Communications Specialist to join us on a permanent basis. You will be joining a purpose-led organisation this is undergoing transformational change across all areas of our operations, both internally and in the sectors in which we operate. You will be helping to strengthen our Internal Communications function, ensuring our team stay focused on caring for our clients, informed about our operations and engaged with our mission.

**About You**

As the Internal Communications Specialist, you will be a natural story teller and talented writer, with the ability to create multi-channel content that connects with your audience. You are skilled at managing multiple competing projects and deadlines. You will build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels across our complex organisation. You are a flexible, creative, an ideas generator, and a safe pair of hands who can be relied on to identify creative solutions and deliver results.

In this role you will:

- Create engaging, multichannel content that reinforces how we walk the talk of our values and are making progress on our mission;
- Champion our people, clients and culture through your storytelling;
- Ensure our team is informed about our operations and engaged with our mission and values;
- Find creative, engaging ways to share stories and information about:

- Front line stories from our team members, clients and residents;
- HR updates; policies; culture-building initiatives
- Business updates;
- Recruitment and retention initiatives;
- Health and Safety initiatives
- Awareness days, weeks and months;
- Diversity and RAP initiatives.

Remuneration: $94, 000 to $104, 000 base plus 10.5% super (plus significant salary sacrificing benefits)

Ideally your experience and qualifications include:

- Degree qualification in Communications, Journalism or Public Relations or other related qualification;
- Minimum five years' experience in a communications or public relations role;
- Demonstrated ability to write engaging and well-articulated content;
- Current Drivers Licence;
- Current national Police Check or the ability to acquire.
