About the Opportunity

We are seeking a professional to develop and deliver internal communications across various business functions.

The role includes creating effective communication plans, building relationships with stakeholders, and delivering engaging content that inspires colleagues.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing strategic communications support to teams
  • Building strong relationships throughout the business to identify issues and drive alignment
  • Delivering creative, innovative, and engaging content, including video, photography, presentations, and written materials
  • Participating in team efforts to deliver great events and experiences for colleagues
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to achieve great outcomes for the business
  • Supporting colleagues by providing excellent communications advice

To be successful in this role, you will have a strong interest in how our organization works. You will possess an awareness of how internal communications enhances the employee experience and strive to develop new methods to grow engagement.

Key qualifications include:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a communications or corporate affairs role, preferably in a retail environment
  • A genuine passion for internal communications and improving colleague experience
  • Excellent language skills, presentation abilities, and visual communication skills
  • An ability to adapt to changing business needs and ambiguous situations
  • A talent for building collaborative, positive relationships at all levels
  • Experience leveraging insights and technology to inform decisions that improve the business
  • Tertiary qualifications in communications, journalism, or a related field
