Brix Project are now working on some major construction project with some fantastic Tier 1 and Tier 2 companies. We are now on the lookout for motivated Cable Jointers to come and join the team.

The Role

You will be responsible for work on high and low voltage lines and construction and maintenance activities. This role requires you to be adaptable, flexible and proactive. Key responsibilities include:

- Construction and maintenance of the existing network
- General servicing
- Cable jointing
- Stringing Overhead mains
- Assist in the construction of the infrastructure

The person

To be successful in this role, you will have a strong background in the heavy electrical industry, a good work ethic and an exceptionally high level of professionalism. To be considered for the role, you must have the following qualifications and experience:

- Cert III ESI qualification Distribution -Powerline and Cable Jointer
- Working knowledge of Electrical Standards, Codes of Practice and general regulations
- Able to work in a team environment
- Strong team building and cooperative approach on site
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- EWP High Risk Licence above 11m
- Working knowledge of Codes of Practice and general regulations

Excellent rate of pay, $55-$60p/hr depending on experience, working on Sydney's Major Infrastructure projects
