About the role

Giidjaa Energy Pty Ltd is seeking talented Cable Jointer's & HV Electricians to join our teams in Sydney and Brisbane.

This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to work with a leading energy provider and contribute to the construction and maintenance of our electrical infrastructure and renewable projects.

What you'll be doing

  • Perform cable jointing and termination works on low, medium, or high voltage cables.
  • Install and maintain power cables.
  • Carry out fault finding, repairs and testing of cables.
  • Ensure all work complies with the relevant standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and engineers to deliver projects on time.
  • Provide accurate reporting and documentation upon completion of works.

What we're looking for

  • Certificate III in ESI Distribution Cable Jointing (mandatory).
  • Certificate III Electrotechnology Electrician
  • Candidates with strong knowledge in MV/HV cable jointing and termination techniques.
  • Switching training (optional).
  • Ability to read technical drawings and plans.
  • High risk work license - EWP (Preferred)
  • Construction white card.
  • Must have ability to travel on various FIFO/DIDO projects
  • Experience in High Voltage Testing (ideal)
