An exciting new opportunity is available for a Product Owner to join the Consumer Buy tribe to evolve our prosperous Buy product experience.

As the Product Owner you will propagate the product vision for the Buy product experience, continually acting as a voice of the customer and business to ensure balanced value delivery. Reporting to the Senior Product Manager - Buy, you will work with the Buy squad to deliver a best-in-class customer experience for customers looking to Buy their vehicle.

**Job Description**:
**What you will do**

This is your opportunity to consolidate our existing separate mobile and desktop experiences into one responsive user experience. You will increase development efficiency by aligning to a shared solution and design framework, rising to consumer expectations of ease and consistency in using carsales. Your design will be a fully responsive site (and Native apps) optimised for SEO with a distinctly more simplified look and feel and be a big part of something big.

Your role spans the end-to-end customer experience of Buying a vehicle - from the moment a customer starts exploring our products to searching for possible vehicles, thru to contacting sellers. You'll have your ear to the ground, passionately listening to feedback from our customers and people to draw inspiration for continuous improvement. You look to data and analytics to guide your analysis and decision making and ultimately to see the impact of the solutions you have helped bring to market.
- Motivate and inspire a team of designers, developers and test analysts by sharing the product vision and communicating the customer and business benefits of features and enhancements.
- Define user stories and acceptance criteria to ensure we build the right solutions to address customer needs.
- Steer the prioritisation of stories and tasks in the Buy backlog to ensure the squad's focus on what's important and valuable.
- Be responsible for the elaboration and delivery of the Buy strategy and roadmap to meet OKRs, business performance targets, product success metrics.
- Lead the planning of initiatives and their delivery into production, ensuring continuous optimisation of the Buy customer experience to drive better business and customer outcomes.
- Led by data and the voice of customer, use experimentation to discover the most effective enhancements to the Buyer experience.
- Leverage web analytics and data platforms to draw insight from user behaviour and business performance, feeding those insights into the squad and wider stakeholder group.
- Work within the squad to actively seek new and improved ways of working to foster a fully collaborative and accountable team.

- Expertise to share of delivery practices within a digital lean product environment across complete product discovery and delivery as a Product Owner.

- As a Product Owner, you will not have direct reports and will need to achieve results through strong collaboration, influence and reasoning.
