Are you a motivated and customer focused Sales Representative looking for your next challenge? As a result of a retirement, we have an opportunity for you to join our Packaged Products Sales team looking after the North Brisbane region, spanning north of the Brisbane River to Bundaberg, and west from Ipswich to Cunnamulla.
Your goal will be to drive business opportunities that achieve revenue growth of all Packaged Products in your region. These opportunities will broadly cover two areas - account management and new business development. With quality service at the core of everything you do, you will take a relationship focus to your work and extend that support to your customers when needed. There will be times when you will need to be resilient as you work through challenges, but relish the challenge this provides and tackle them head on. Above all, you understand the importance of having good customers and are passionate about sales as your chosen career.
**About the role**:
As an Sales Representative - Packaged Products at Cement Australia, you will:
- Positively influence safety and sustainability at Cement Australia, complying with safety standards and policies
- Account manage a portfolio of customers and prospect for new business opportunities, maintaining an active pipeline of opportunities within the region
- Increase profitability of your portfolio by effective price and product management
- Ensure customers have account plans that add value to them and support retention
- Represent Cement Australia at promotional events, customer training and product demonstrations
- Understand, monitor and report customer and industry trends, business drivers and competitor activity to develop effective Key Account Plans and market strategies
- Review and act on feedback from customer satisfaction questionnaires to drive continuous improvement and enhance customer relationships
**About you**:
- Hold previous experience in an equivalent role, preferably within the industrial or hardware environments
- Have experience with Business to Business or Business to Consumer sales
- Ability to maintain and engage current customers and establish new relationships.
- Be well versed in selling and negotiation skills and commercial awareness
- Ability to work autonomously with a team focus
- Have a sound understanding of strategic account management and supply management
- Be flexible for overnight travel as required.
