To enhance our focus in this domain, we've established a new position - this is where you come in Reporting to our Group Manager of Consumer Insights and Business Analytics and is a permanent, full-time position situated in Brisbane (with our Global Head Office in Cannon Hill), offering hybrid work options.

**To enable us to improve overall business performance, you will be responsible for**:

- Analysis of internal and external data sets to form insight that can be understood and acted upon\
- Ensure business functions get regular insight into their specific areas through the development of insight schedule
- Make use of external and internal data sets to report on macro forces impacting on Group performance
- Analysis of business performance through the lens of customer segmentation to ensure each business is growing in expected areas

**Ideally you will be able to showcase**:

- Strong commercial and business development approach with confidence to present ideas to business stakeholders
- Relentless curiosity with a desire to understand each problem
- Proactive with a bias for action and willingness to be involved in many aspects of business
- Ability to manage and prioritise competing elements
- An approach that drives big picture thinking and makes the complex easy to understand
- Analytically competent, experienced in harnessing multiple data sources
- Excellent presentation and visualisation of data skills
- Commercial experience in an analytics function - perhaps you have a few years' experience and are seeking the next career step
- Experience in a dynamic retail environment preferred
- Degree in data science / analytics or related field
- SQL competency
- Tableau and /or Power BI skills
