**What your work will involve**

The Facilities Manager works closely with Centre Directors, Councils, Department of Education and commercial landlords in overseeing day-to-day preventative maintenance, reactive maintenance and assist in capital projects where required. The role is supported by an Asset Administrator.
- Manage a facilities maintenance regime across all service centres including inspections, compliance, maintenance and cleaning across Big Fat Smile's portfolio.
- Maintain an organisation wide asset management plan.
- Directly and indirectly manage building renovation projects including government and education facilities.
- Contractor management, including onboarding.
- Collaborating with Finance on lease and supplier management.
- Managing a small vehicle fleet.

The role is based in Wollongong. Travel will be a requirement of the role to our various locations throughout Wollongong and surrounding areas.

**What you'll need to succeed**

You will be customer focussed and have substantial experience in a facilities management. You will be an excellent communicator with interpersonal skills to influence colleagues, peers and external stakeholders to achieve outcomes and maintain service levels. You will also have excellent organisational skills.
