Job Description:

The role of a Maintenance Supervisor is to lead a team of tradespeople and contractors in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities. You will be responsible for coaching and developing your team members, as well as promoting a culture of continuous improvement and high standards of safety.

Specifically, this involves:

  1. Establishing and monitoring maintenance schedules to ensure timely completion and adherence to quality standards
  2. Managing open work orders to completion, prioritizing jobs based on business requirements and budget considerations
  3. Responding to breakdowns, allocating resources, managing records, and implementing fatigue management strategies during critical repairs
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience in planning and scheduling maintenance activities using systems such as SAP or MEX
  • Supervisory experience with knowledge of enterprise agreements and ability to interpret them
  • Ability to manage a maintenance budget and prioritize spending
  • Strong continuous improvement mindset and safety leadership behaviors
