This role offers the chance to work with an international team and support global payments.ResponsibilitiesPayroll ManagementAdminister payroll processing across four countries, ensuring accuracy and complianceManage employee entitlements such as leave and sick daysCoordinate with outsourced payroll providers to ensure timely and compliant payroll executionResolve employee payroll inquiries efficientlyCompliance & ReportingPrepare and submit statutory payroll filings, including payroll tax and government contributionsStay updated with relevant legislation, particularly in AustraliaEnsure compliance with single-touch payroll (STP) and leave liabilitiesSupport audit processes with payroll documentationReconciliationPerform payroll reconciliations for taxes, superannuation, and balance sheet accountsProcess payroll-related journal entries for month-end reportingAssistant Accountant ResponsibilitiesPerform bank and payment gateway reconciliations across jurisdictionsManage journal entries for accruals, prepayments, and expensesAssist in expense payments, ensuring proper coding and approvalsPrepare and reconcile monthly BAS statementsMonth-End and Audit SupportSupport month-end closing activities and reconcile general ledger accountsAssist with management reports and audit documentationCross-Functional SupportProvide backup for accounts payable and receivable functionsCollaborate on process improvements with finance and HR teamsRequirementsAt least 2 years' experience in payroll or accounting rolesAccounting qualification (CPA/CA or studying towards)Experience with NetSuite is advantageousStrong understanding of accounting principles and Excel skillsProven experience managing Australian payrollProactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independentlyFlexible working hours around month-end deadlinesBenefitsMerit-based career growthWeekly catered lunches and social eventsWell-stocked kitchens, bar, and recreational activitiesParticipation in hackathons and company eventsLocated at Grosvenor Place with stunning harbour viewsOur MissionWe aim to improve lives globally by providing one billion jobs, fostering a culture of meritocracy, and promoting internal career growth.Additional DetailsLevel: Entry-levelType: Full-timeFunction: Accounting/AuditingIndustry: IT Services and Consulting
