What the role looks like
Reporting to the General Manager Technology Operations, you will be a key contributor in the following areas:
Developing and managing transition plans ensuring all aspects of the operational transition requirements are covered and able to be monitored, maintained & supported as planned for strategic projects, business driven projects, site moves and as required IT Sustainment initiatives.
Engaging with stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure their requirements are met during the transition process.
Identifying potential risks associated with the transition and developing mitigation strategies to address them.
Maintaining clear and effective communication, ensuring training occurs for all parties involved in the transition, including technical teams, management, and end-users.
Driving knowledge management practices across Technology for the transition and ongoing management of processes, plans, procedures and knowledge articles
Identifying opportunities for improving the transition process and implementing best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Ensuring all IT assets are transitioned to Technology Owners and comply with relevant regulations and standards, such as data protection laws and industry-specific requirements.
Ensuring all services transitioned recognise cost changes and commercial agreements, to deliver Members Best Financial interests.
Who are we looking for?
We're on the lookout for passionate individuals who embody our values. If you have the following, we want to hear from you:
Extensive experience working within an ITSM specific role or technology team actively using ITSM principles.
Strong project management skills, including familiarity with methodologies like Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall.
Expertise in change management principles and practices
Expertise working in Technology in a highly regulated environment
Strong leadership skills to manage and motivate cross-functional teams.
Deep proficiency in creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation of transition plans, processes, training and outcomes.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey information to all parties involved in the transition
Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and requirements, staying flexible and responsive.
A mindset focused on continuous improvement, always looking for ways to enhance transition processes and outcomes.
