**The Company**
Mitolo Family Farms is a family owned South Australian business, we attribute much of our success to the strength of our People, our Brands and our Product Quality. Our operations commenced in 1972 and we celebrate our 50th anniversary of business operations this year. We are a horticultural company that grows packs and distributes potatoes and onions, with our main offices, production packing and dispatch facilities located in Virginia, SA and Hillston, NSW.
**The Position**
Reporting to the IT Manager, this position of IT Support Officer is part of a team of five IT professionals supporting the Mitolo Family Farms business across production, farms, and administration. This role will give you an opportunity to develop your IT skills alongside a team who are experienced and skilled in their profession.
This position would suit an already experienced IT Support Officer looking to broaden their IT knowledge and has proven problem-solving skills and is up for a challenge.
**Your responsibilities include**:
The IT Support Officer is responsible for the day-to-day support of end user devices and manufacturing equipment across all sites and for all levels of end users, as well as participation in ongoing project work.
- experience in troubleshooting hardware issues in end user devices including desktops, laptops, tablets, mobile phones and printers
- experience in troubleshooting software issues in Windows, Office 365, iOS
- experience in managing users and permissions in Active Directory and Office 365 environments
- experience in managing mobile devices via Mobile Device Management systems
- experience in installation deployment of software and apps
- an understanding of IP network addressing, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy and vLAN's
- an understanding of network hardware switches, routers and firewalls
- be able to act as a point of contact for Level 1 technical queries and escalations
- energetic, enthusiastic and willing to help others with their IT problems
- ability to explain technical information in basic terms
- strong written and oral communication skills together with a strong customer service focus
- confidence and maturity
**What we're looking for**:
A person with a passion for IT. A person who possesses previous experience in supporting users with general troubleshooting issues. Someone who enjoys taking initiative, with the expertise to be challenged and take ownership of their role and takes the opportunity to develop their career.
