**About the Role - Positive Behaviour Support Clinical Lead (PBS)**
Under the **guidance of the Positive Behaviour Support Manager**, the PBS Clinical Lead will provide **expertise and leadership**in implementing **positive behaviour support**interventions and developmental programming. This role ensures evidence-based best practices within a **least restrictive framework**, helping to deliver excellence in behaviour and developmental support services.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead a team of **PBS Practitioners**to deliver individual and group interventions for people with complex therapeutic needs.
- Foster strong relationships with **internal and external stakeholders**to drive service excellence.
- Contribute to **quality assessment and risk management**across PBS services.
- Provide **training, coaching, and performance management**for the PBS team.
- Work collaboratively with **HR**and the PBS Manager on recruitment, staff development, and retention.
**What You Need to Succeed**
- **Proven experience**in a leadership role within **Positive Behaviour Support (PBS)**.
- Strong understanding of the **disability and non-profit sector**, including governance and compliance.
- In-depth knowledge of **developmental and PBS theories, models, and approaches**.
- Strong ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders while working autonomously.
- A **flexible approach**to work structure and hours to meet organisational needs.
**Essential Qualifications & Licences**
- Current **Drivers Licence**.
- **NDIS Worker Screening Check**(or willingness to obtain).
- **Working with Children Check**(or willingness to obtain).
- **Tertiary qualification**that qualifies for registration with a professional body such as DEAI, AASW, APHRA, or similar, eligible to register as a **PBS practitioner**at a proficient level.
