**About You**
Heritage NSW is looking to appoint a Secretariat Officer to manage and provide high-level secretariat services to the Heritage Council of NSW, the Aboriginal Cultural Heritage Advisory Committee and other related committees and panels.
- Some of the key tasks of the role include:_
- Provide secretariat support including organising and scheduling meetings, preparing agendas and briefing papers, coordination of presentation materials, minute taking, drafting and dissemination and documenting decision making processes.
- Undertake actions arising from committee meetings in a timely manner; coordinate the preparation of sensitive, high level and often urgent, reports, submissions, briefing notes, correspondence and annual report material ensuring documents are comprehensive, accurate and comply with government protocols.
- Assist in the implementation and review of secretariat systems, processes, procedures, and information management systems and project plans to facilitate effective executive, business and strategic support to statutory committees and high-level forums and to improve and bring about change in work practices as needed.

We are looking for someone who is highly organised and can demonstrate excellent time management and prioritisation skills and is energised by the challenges presented in a complex and dynamic work environment.

Your ability to easily work with others will be valued as you will be required to coordinate requests and tasks with various stakeholders. You will also be self-driven and enjoy being challenged to deliver multiple tasks with competing deadlines.

You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills as you will be frequently liaising with high level specialists, preparing briefs, agendas and collating presentations. Your professionalism and integrity are crucial to this role. You will be able to work with highly sensitive and confidential information and follow all rules, policies and guidelines.
