
Office Manager

As a growing contractor, we specialise in all aspects of Civil Construction including but not limited to demolition, bulk excavation & asbestos removal. We are seeking an office manager with a eager drive, strong communication and organizational skills with experience in a similar role in Australia. This is a great opportunity to join a team of skilled, passionate, and hardworking professionals and to take over the day to day running of the administration of the business in collaboration with the Director. Training and on-going support will also be provided. You will be highly motivated, productive and organized, with a can do attitude. You must have the ability to multi task and think outside the box to improve office systems, processes and documentations. You are experienced and trustworthy with at least 2 years administrative experience. You will develop key strategies to increase efficiency in daily operations & productivity amongst staff whilst overseeing a small team. Must have excellent knowledge of Xero Accounting Software and Excel.
This can be a part-time/casual or ABN role to start ASAP within Western Sydney, with an attractive hourly rate based on experience. Days are Tuesday and Friday (can be flexible), hours are flexible (min 15hrs).
- **OFFICE DUTIES**:
- General administration duties, such as data entry and filing
- Read over documents and contracts when needed and report to Director
- Must be proficient in Xero Accounting & Excel
- Must be able to understand Payment Schedules & Progress Claims
- Manage all paperwork for demolition and notifications (training provided)
- Maintain and Update procedures Manual
- Invoicing and following up on debt
- Renewal of Licences, Insurances and vehicle registrations
- Ensure office premise is a collaborative place to work and that the office and its rooms are clean, tidy and well maintained.
- Payroll
- Payment of Invoices
- Ad hoc tasks as required
**HR SUPPORT**
- Provide induction packs to employees and input their data in Xero
- Maintain employee personal files and records
- Coordinate company functions and training
- Maintain policies and procedures
- Liaise closely with HR Department
**BUSINESS ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT**
- PA to the Director, including providing clerical and administrative
- General administration duties, such as data entry and filing
- Provide support to Accounts and Estimating Team
**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 15 per week
**Salary**: $30.00 - $37.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
