Wastewater Engineer Career
We are looking for a talented Wastewater Engineer to join our team. Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in wastewater treatment and process design.
Key Responsibilities:
• Undertake options investigations, feasibility studies and reporting on complex engineering projects such as water, wastewater, recycled water, resource recovery, biosolids, and odour treatment facilities.
• Lead project delivery and engineering designs for water and wastewater treatment plant projects.
• Apply experience and understanding of treatment projects from concept through to detailed design to ensure successful project delivery.
• Lead project teams, ensuring high quality deliverables and budgets are met in a timely manner.
• Work and coordinate with a multi-disciplinary design team to ensure constructability of the process designs and compatibility with the design intent.
• Engage in client facing activities to ensure expectations are met and exceeded.
• Build and maintain client relationships.
• Mentor and share project experience with junior engineers.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
Tertiary Qualification:
Chemical or Process Engineering.
Professional Experience:
Approximately 6 to 10 years relevant professional experience in the water and wastewater industry.
Interpersonal Skills:
Highly developed interpersonal skills to develop and maintain positive relationships with internal and external clients.
Consulting Skills:
Highly developed consulting skills to liaise with clients and other stakeholders to achieve mutually successful project outcomes.
Attitude:
Positive and proactive attitude with the ability to get involved and lead others, whilst contributing to a vibrant team.
