THE ROLE

**The responsibilities of the role include**:

- Act as the primary point of call for decisions relating to crisis management, staffing issues, and incident reporting
- Provide employees practice advisory and debriefing services during or after critical incidents
- Stakeholder liaison and mandatory reporting where required
- Real-time accurate reporting of on-call service provided
- Review reports of critical incidents
- Provide recommendations for continuous improvement

**Skills and Experiences**:
ABOUT YOU

The successful applicant/s will require the following Qualifications and Experience:

- Minimum Certificate IV qualification in a relevant discipline (e.g. Youth Work, Social Work, Social Science, Counselling) is essential.
- Experience in on-call responsibilities in residential OOHC is essential with a strong understanding of practice, legislative/regulatory, and staff support requirements. Experience in developing safety plans, behaviour support strategies, case noting, and report writing is essential.
- Demonstrated experience in working effectively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, families, and communities.
- Valid unrestricted Australian drivers licence
- Valid Blue Card and Yellow Card (or willingness to attain)
- Experience in working with young people with complex trauma is essential.
