**The Company**

This highly successful and stable supplier and manufacturer has been the leader in its market for over 60 years. This position operates within the key manufacturing section of the plant. The business has recently invested in its manufacturing capital and processes at the Sydney site, which has given them the capability to now export products. Its culture is driven by a family focus, within a corporate structure.

**Duties**:
Within this vital hands
- on role, you will report to the General Manager and working in a standalone capacity. As the Facilities Coordinator your main duties will include ;
- A focus on preventative maintenance, urgent repairs for facility, regular maintenance and site compliance
- Dealing directly with contractors & subcontractors for day to day correction actions for cleaning, fire and security
- Maintenance of site include areas such as ; fire systems, fire testing, crane inspections, waster, air conditioning, cameras, pest control, landscaping & plumbing
- Coordination of trades / suppliers for repairs or breakdowns
- Collation of quotations
- OH&S compliance
- Ensuring WHS policies are adhered to
- Ensuring site facilities comply with legislative requirements
- After hours on-call as required for emergency repairs

- You have proven experience in either : Facilities Coordinator, Team Leader, Supervisor, Mechanical & Electrical Fitters, Plumbers, Maintenance Planners, Maintenance Schedulers and Maintenance Team Leaders/Supervisors, Maintenance Planner or Trade
- You are not seeking career progression, rather a role with an established brand that offers stability and autonomy
- You are hands on and have a strong mechanical or electrical aptitude
- You are keen to get off the tools and be in a hands on role
- You have strong and clear communication skills
- Strong planning, coordination, time management and delegating skills
- Flexible to jump in where needed regards to maintenance of the site
- Ability to deal with suppliers and negotiate quotations
- Forklift licence would be highly regarded
- Any training in fire extinguisher, fire warden and issuing permits would be highly regarded
