About the Role
- As a Facilities Coordinator, you'll play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our facilities. Reporting to the National Facilities Manager and working closely with the Senior Facilities Coordinator you'll support various departments and external vendors to maintain the smooth running of the building, ensuring that everything from safety systems to office supplies runs like clockwork.

- Some of your core responsibilities will be (but aren't limited to)- Facility Maintenance: Ensure building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, safety equipment) are running efficiently. Coordinate routine maintenance, repairs, and the smooth execution of our annual building shutdown.- Workplace Safety: Monitor safety protocols, conduct regular inspections, and ensure compliance with both company and local regulations. Keep our safety records up to date.- Space Management: Support office layout changes and space planning, from coordinating moves to managing furniture requirements. Liaise with IT on any AV maintenance and repairs as required- Inventory Management: Oversee office and facility supplies, ensuring everything is ordered, tracked, and available when needed.- Event Coordination: Ensure that company events and meetings run smoothly by coordinating setup, breakdown, and facility readiness.- Emergency Preparedness: Support first aid and fire training, maintain emergency protocols, and coordinate the annual fire evacuation drill.- Additional Support: Occasionally assist with reception duties, event catering setups, and ad hoc tasks when required.
- The skills you'll need
- You'll have proven experience in Facilities Management, Office Coordination or a Workplace Services type role (2-3 years preferred), from within a corporate services environment. You will pride yourself on your proactivity and high standards when it comes to facilities management.
- As well as;- Knowledge of building systems and safety regulations.- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills - you'll be working with people across the business and with external vendors.- A strong multi-tasker with excellent attention to detail.- Proficiency in MS Office Suite.- Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.- A team player willing to roll their sleeves up and "get things done".
- Desirable Skills- Diploma in Facilities Management or a related field is desirable.- Awareness of health and safety regulations.
