As Senior Advisor, Environment, you will: Provide strategic advice and day-to-day environmental support Manage approvals and stakeholder consultation under Environment, Mining & Heritage Acts Develop, review and implement environmental management processes in consultation with Environmental leadership Lead monitoring, inspections, audits, data collection and reporting Maintain environmental risk and obligations registers Support continuous improvement of the site's ISO14001/ICMI/ICMM Certified Management System Coach and mentor upcoming environmental professionals Support and lead progressive rehabilitation initiatives as required About You You're a motivated environmental professional who thrives in a collaborative, dynamic environment and brings strong stakeholder engagement and compliance expertise.
What you'll bring: Tertiary qualification in Environmental Science (or equivalent) Strong knowledge of WA environmental legislation (DEMIRS, DWER, DPLH) Experience with audits, inspections and approvals processes Skilled in Microsoft Office, GIS and environmental databases Leadership experience with the ability to coach and mentor others Project management experience with developing, implementing, and continuously enhancing management programs (desirable) Experience collaborating with Traditional Owners will be highly regarded At Gold Fields, we live our values every day.
