Here is your opportunity to join an iconic organization in a key site-based HSE manager position. Operating in the logistics arm of the business you will support the transport team onsite near Laverton.

Reporting to the Senior HSE Manager your key responsibilities include:

- Leading the ongoing implementation and maintenance of the HSE management system
- Devising strategies to grow a positive, proactive and engaged safety culture
- Develop, implement and review Site HSE Plans and strategy
- Participate in review and management of change activities
- Coaching, leading and guiding the team on all things HSE
- Identifying and bridging systems gaps through audit and investigation activity
- Undertake safety conversations and consultation activities
- Conduct regular site HSE inspections
- Coordinate and deliver HSE training programs

**_To be great in this role you:_**
- 5+ years of practical experience in an HSE role with a focus on transport and logistics
- Strong relationship management of both internal and external stakeholders
- Conducting audits and corrective action planning
- Knowledge of HSE legislation, ISO45001 and ISO14001
- Excellent written and communication skills, and write high-quality reports
- Experience conducting incident investigations using ICAM or similar methodologies
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with others including legislators, external auditors, accreditation bodies, industry experts
- Competent computing skills, advanced Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Superior problem-solving capability

**_Qualifications - Education and/or professional_**
- Diploma in WHS
- Chartered/ Certified HSE professional (desirable)
- Internal Auditor qualifications (desirable)
- ICAM investigation trained (desirable)
