We have a great opportunity for a highly motivated and customer focused **Parts Advisor **at our Laverton branch.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

Reporting into the Parts Manager, you will be responsible for providing first class customer service, parts interpretation and sales to both internal and external customers.

**The main responsibilities of this position will include**:

- Processing parts orders and locating of parts for both internal & external customers.
- Providing an outstanding level of customer service to all of our customers.
- Ensuring company accounts receivable policies are adhered to in relation to parts sales transactions.
- Assist in the operation and cleanliness of display areas at the branch.
- Participation in an after-hours ‘on-call’ roster for emergency parts supply and a Saturday morning duty roster.

**ABOUT YOU**

**To be considered for this role you will have the following skills, experience & attributes**:

- Experience in a customer service position in a fast-paced environment.
- Mechanical knowledge will be a nice to have, a background in automotive would be highly regarded.
- Exceptional communication skills: a positive and enthusiastic attitude.
- Strong computer skills with experience using multiple databases.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to handle several tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of Caterpillar products (nice to have but not essential).

This position does work on a week to week rotating roster, commencing from a 7am - 12pm starting time. You will also be required to work on the Saturday roster every 4 weeks.
