Our newly expanded premises at Hurstville requires a full time Cellar/Dock Coordinator to control a busy loading dock for our hotel, food & beverage channels.
Under the leadership of the site General Manager this role works closely with the F&B & Events teams and liaises with the hotel as required. The Cellar/Dock Coordinator is tasked with ensuring the good order and cleanliness of the dock and storage areas, accuracy of deliveries, correct storage of fresh produce for three kitchens, procurement, and control of beverage stock for seven bars, including rotation of stock, scheduled stocktakes and is supported by part time dockhands across peak periods.
We have big visions for the role as our venues get busier and stock holding/movement increases. You will be a self-starter with initiative and an eye for detail who can lead and work autonomously. You will have an excellent understanding of manual handling procedures and be able to execute safe work plans.
The dock will be busy with multiple deliveries each day so your ability to maintain the coordination and safe movement of deliveries, drivers and vehicles is imperative. You will also be required to enter stock into our inventory programs so a level of PC literacy is necessary.
