Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a Cellar Assistant to join our team in the cellar operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the smooth running of the cellar and working closely with the Head Cellarman.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing exceptional customer service to internal customers
  • Stocking beverages and assisting with ordering processes
  • Assisting with deliveries, stock rotation, and cleaning tasks
  • Ensuring beer lines and glassware are clean and well-maintained
  • Participating in monthly stock takes and general cellar duties

Requirements:

  • Proven ability to work effectively and efficiently with attention to detail
  • Display high standards of professionalism and quality workmanship
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication skills - both written and oral
  • Physical fitness and a well-presented appearance
  • Prior experience in cellars or bars would be advantageous
  • Compliance with all safety and manual handling procedures
  • Current driver's license and knowledge of WHS standards
  • Commitment to workplace safety and a willingness to work flexible hours
  • RSA and RCG certificates held
  • Forklift license preferred but not essential
