We make and deliver an extensive range of fresh sandwiches, wraps, and other convenience food to service stations, supermarkets, hospitals, and other food service providers.We believe in our people and our business, knowing that every task contributes to our customers' success.The RoleThis role involves ensuring that production quality assurance processes are in place, complied with, and records are maintained.Key ResponsibilitiesAssign locations for production staff during productionEnsure all production staff comply with the company dress codeAdhere to FTG procedures, specifications, and policies at all timesCommunicate effectively and consistently with staffMeet all customer deadlines and specifications; notify of any exceptionsEnsure products are made according to recipes and specificationsVerify storage of ingredients and packaging in correct locationsEnsure labels are correct, accurate, and up to dateConduct daily GMP quality checksSet up and sanitize production linesMaintain cleanliness of factory and office at day's endClean belts and floors, put away food, and remove rubbish regularly and before breaksSome lifting requiredKey Competencies, Skills, and QualificationsProven ability to lead and coach team membersAbility to give clear instructionsFood processing experience, machine operation, and knife skillsComfortable working in cold environmentsInitiative to seek out work with limited supervisionStrong attention to detailKnowledge of hygiene, food safety, HACCP principles, and proceduresUnderstanding of quality assurance systems and continuous improvementAbility to develop and complete improvement projectsReliable with a strong work ethicWhat FTG OffersAbove award rates, superannuation, penalties, and shift loadings.Application ProcessPlease submit your resume via the apply now link below.
