We are seeking a skilled product developer to manage all stages of product development from concept to final approval. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with fittings, spec creation, grading and construction.

The successful applicant will be able to lead fit preparation and fittings, provide clear comments to suppliers, ensure adherence to project timelines and maintain data accuracy. They will also source and evaluate materials for viability and cost, approve specifications, tolerances and ensure measurement consistency.

Responsibilities
  • Manage product development through all stages, from concept to final approval.
  • Create and send accurate technical packs in line with brand standards.
  • Lead fit preparation and fittings, providing clear comments to suppliers.
  • Ensure adherence to project timelines, meeting deadlines and maintaining data accuracy.
  • Source and evaluate materials for viability and cost.
  • Approve specifications, tolerances, and ensure measurement consistency.
  • Collaborate in workshops on fit, fabric, construction, and costings.
  • Analyse trade reports to assess product performance and inform future developments.
About You

We're looking for someone who is technically strong, highly organised and thrives in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will bring:

  • 3-5 years' experience in product development or technical roles within womenswear.
  • Hands-on experience with fittings, spec creation, grading and construction.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Microsoft Excel (Style Arcade and G-Suite advantageous).
  • Strong communication skills and ability to manage changing priorities.
  • A problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
  • A related qualification in fashion, technical apparel, or pattern-making (preferred but not essential with solid industry experience).
