**The Role**
This is an exciting opportunity to manage our highly rated dental centre in Bankstown. As a Dental Coordinator, you will be responsible for the ongoing success of the dental practice and will have the opportunity to grow as a leader.
**The Responsibilities**
- First point of contact for patients either face to face or over the phone.
- Use Dental4Windows system to book and queue patients to see a HCP
- Assist patients and third parties with enquiries.
- Ensure confidentiality and privacy guidelines are followed when dealing with patient information.
- Delivers industry leading patient experiences
- Ensure patient confidentiality is maintained at all times
- Encourages the dental team to maintain best practice standards in patient care and customer experience
- Manages difficult conversations and conflict and deals with negative feedback in the appropriate manner
- Calls answered within three rings Assigned work is completed by the end of the day.
- Patient records correctly filed.
- Answering calls, faxing, photo copying, mail distribution, compiling and transferring patient files, and Work Cover administration.
- Manages patient and dentist concerns in a timely and respectful manner in the absence of the Dental Coordinator
- Opens the dental practice each weekday morning when required
- Have a full understanding of the administration systems and work processes
- Escalates repair and maintenance issues with applicable centre support contacts (including technology, facilities etc.)
- Monitor stock control - review stock holdings prior to ordering, rotate stock as required, reduce incidents of over-ordering
- 100% accuracy is to be maintained around all Health Fund claiming complying with fee structure set down by the individual Health Funds
- Ensure all billing is completed under correct service provider and responsible party

Additionally, you must have
- Knowledge of D4W Software
- Past exposure in the dental industry
- Extensive experience in exceptional customer service
- Great time management skills and highly organised
- Understanding of infection control procedures
- Excellent communication skills
- An ability to handle pressure and multi-task
