**Dental Receptionist - Boutique State-of-the-Art Dental Practice (Sydney CBD)**

Quay Dental is a modern, boutique dental practice located in the heart of Sydney's CBD. We pride ourselves on delivering an exceptional patient experience in a welcoming and professional environment. We are currently seeking an **experienced, self-motivated, and dedicated Dental Receptionist** to join our friendly team. This position will initially be part-time, with the potential to grow.

**About the Role**

As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a key role in creating a warm and professional impression of our practice. You will be responsible for managing reception duties, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, and supporting our dental team where required.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Greet and welcome patients, providing excellent customer service and care.
- Process payments, health fund claims (HICAPS), and maintain accurate patient records.
- Coordinate patient recalls and follow-up appointments.
- Ensure reception and waiting areas are kept professional and tidy.
- Support dentists and clinical staff by preparing paperwork and scheduling efficiently.
- Assist with dental assisting duties if required (training provided if necessary).
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with all dental practice policies and procedures.

**About You**

**Essential Skills & Attributes**:

- Previous experience as a dental receptionist (preferred) or in a healthcare reception role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional phone manner.
- Strong computer literacy and experience with dental or medical software (Exact experience highly regarded).
- Ability to multitask, follow instructions, and prioritise effectively.
- A proactive, self-motivated approach with a strong eye for detail.
- A friendly, empathetic personality with a genuine interest in patient care.
- Flexibility to assist with basic dental assisting duties if required.
