We're on the lookout for a passionate, experienced Receptionist to join our team

This is a permanent part-time position, 32 hours a week. You must be able to work on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 7.50am - 5.50pm and Thursday afternoons from 1.00pm - 6.00pm.

About you:

You must have Receptionist experience in a healthcare setting.

You will need to be:

  • honest, reliable and friendly with strong attention to detail skills
  • a great communicator, highly motivated and a strong team player
  • an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
  • willing to develop additional skills to excel in this role.

A current Working With Children Check number will be required before employment commences.  You will also be required to participate in the Bankstown Orthodontics immunisation program.

About the role:

Your main tasks and responsibilities include:

  • Welcoming patients – you'll be the first friendly face they see.
  • Managing appointments and follow-ups.
  • Answering phones, replying to emails, and responding to enquiries with professionalism and care.
  • Processing payments and managing records accurately.
  • Supporting practice procedures, team communication, and backend operations.
  • Helping improve systems and workflows to make our team's day-to-day operations run smoother.

Once you've mastered our Receptionist role, you will be required to do some aspects of the Dental Assistant role, including preparing the treatment room and sterilising instruments. Training will be provided and Dental Assisting experience is not essential.
