**About the Role**

We are currently seeking a **full time**, hands-on Accounts Receivable Officer to assist the

Finance team by maintaining client billing and liaising with residents and representatives concerning billing queries, monitoring client accounts for non-payments, maintaining client files and records, debtors' ledger maintenance, and preparation of monthly management reports as required.

This role is privy to confidential information and therefore a high level of trust and confidence is placed in the person filling the position

Reporting to the General Manager, Finance, this role would suit someone that wants to be part of a friendly but professional team who is supportive as well as passionate about what they do.

The position will be responsible for assisting with the end to end functions of a fortnightly pay system including:

- Inbound and outbound calls
- Investigating root causes of overdue debtor balances
- Working closely with operational management and staff to resolve overdue balance issues
- Resolving account enquiries to reduce aged debt
- Maintenance of aged debtor portfolio
- Account reconciliations
- Providing excellent customer service by professionally and timely responding to queries, ensuring internal customer service levels are maintained at exceptionally high standards
- At least 3 years experience in a client focused role undertaking accounts receivable duties - preferably in the aged care sector
- Strong ability to communicate with external clients to ensure timely collection of debts.
- High proficiency in negotiating positive outcomes.
- A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Be highly organised and decisive.
- Intermediate or advanced MS Word and Excel skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong administrative, organisational, and time management skills.
- Customer service-focused with excellent telephone communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to problem-solve
