Senior Financial Accountant Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Financial Accountant to join our organisation. The successful candidate will have a Chartered Accountant or relevant financial degree and an excellent understanding of Accounting Standards.
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to maintain accurate and detailed records. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are also essential for this role, as they will be responsible for collaborating with various stakeholders and ensuring seamless financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintaining Long Term Forecasts (P&L, Balance Sheet and Cashflow)
Monthly consolidation and balance sheet preparation and submission including assisting with Group consolidation adjustment control
Preparing budgeted cashflow and balance sheet
Preparation and submission of Growth capex and Maintenance capex applications to the Board as required
Assist with preparation of the annual financial statements and maintaining accounting policies
Assist with Accounting Paper preparation as required
Assisting with auditors at interim and financial year end audits
Ownership of Group accounting, including TB uploads, monthly journals, maintenance of working files
Assist with the Fixed Asset Reconciliation review as well as AASB16 lease monthly reconciliation review

Qualifications:
Chartered Accountant or relevant financial degree
High attention to detail
Organised and able to meet strict deadlines
Excellent understanding of Accounting Standards
Experience with Financial statement preparation
Well-developed verbal and written communication skills
Ability to deal with multi-level relationships
Excellent interpersonal, influencing and negotiation skills
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build successful working relationships
Strong computer literacy including demonstratable proficiency with Microsoft Excel formulas eg Xlookup, SUMIFs, INDEX, MATCH, pivots, Power BI
