The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Analyst to join a dynamic team at JK Williams. Based within the finance team but with exposure to all parts of the business, you will be responsible for analysing data and providing critical support for the Group's planning, forecasting and reporting activities.

Responsibilities include however are not limited to:

  • Deliver high quality and timely analysis on key areas of the Group's operations. This includes analysing financial and operational performance, identifying key trends and variances.
  • Provide and continually develop reporting that responds to the changing needs of the business. This includes helping improve financial processes, tools and reporting systems.
  • Group budgeting including partnering with stakeholders across the business
  • Support Monthly and annual financial reporting activities.
  • Capital expenditure decision support.
  • Support scenario planning and ad-hoc financial analysis as needed.
  • Ad-hoc projects as required by the business.

About You

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Degree qualified within Accounting & Finance and CA certifications with a minimum of 5 years experience within a group accounting or similar role.
  • Highly analytical and detail-oriented professional.
  • Can demonstrate a high level of commercial acumen.
  • Strong problem solving, reporting and analytical capabilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders across the Group including senior management.
  • Strong time management skills with a proven track record in achieving results in accordance with reporting needs.
  • Prior experience working in the building & construction industry or project based work environmentswould be viewed advantageously.
  • Exposure to sustainability reporting not required, but advantageous.
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally and managing multiple priorities.
