The main focus of this role is to manage and develop key accounts as assigned by the Manager, Key Account Management. Manage & build relationships, account development and contribute to the overall profitability of DSV. With an emphasis on discovering your potential and determination to connect with your fellow forwarders, this is an opportunity for you to thrive in a close and supportive team environment, valuing active listening and diversity of thinking.
**What you will be required to do (but not limited to)**:
- Establish and Maintain an effective customer management plan that includes a formalised review structure and business plan for each assigned client
- Develop new business opportunities and continually seek to expand DSV's share of our customer's business
- Work pro-actively with their assigned key accounts to improve our customer's awareness of 'Value Add's'
- Assemble rate proposals and support Tender Management for all assigned key customers
- Maintain customer rate cards and organisational information in CargoWise One (CW1)
- Support operational stakeholders in developing IOP's & SOP's through your sound knowledge of customer requirements
- Conduct customer visits & arrange monthly and/or quarterly business reviews
- Engage with Senior Management and key stakeholders acorss DSV to ensure best-in-class customer service
- Maintain meaningful, transparent relationships with customers across multiple levels
- Identify, research, and work collaboratively with DSV stakeholders to resolve customer issues
- This is a true "farming" role in all aspects of the term
**About You**:
- Five years experience in international freight forwarding & Account Management or Customer Care
- CargoWise One experience is essential
- Experience in managing and developing key accounts
- Proficient verbal & written communication skills
- Experience utilising Microsoft Office Applications
