Food & Beverage Team Member

About the role:
Food & Beverage Team Members at Raging Waters Sydney are responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and performing duties to the highest possible standard within our various Food & Beverage outlets. They must make positive first impressions and respond quickly to all customer requests and issues.

Roles & Responsibilities:
Work effectively within a team environment to provide excellent guest service and promote a positive working environment- To carry out all duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Food & Beverage Team Leaders, Food & Beverage Supervisor, Food & Beverage Manager or member of the Management Team- Assist in other areas associated as required

Cashier Operator:
- Ensure that the Payment Card Industry (PCI) requirements are followed and checked before starting a shift and the PCI form is signed off before using each register- Operate the POS register- The ability to upsell and value add to every order to maximise revenue opportunity- Ensure that all equipment needed for operations is available- Required to complete any end of day duties as instructed.

Runner:
- Ensuring sufficient stock is available for the daily operations to ensure speed of service- Understanding of the number system in place for preparing and delivering orders placed- Assist Cashier by preparing orders for guests

Kitchen Operator:
- Operate POS register- Ensure all orders are accurate and presented to the required standard- The ability to up-sell & value add to every order to maximise revenue opportunity in an effort to achieve outlet KPIs- Follow workplace hygiene procedures and maintain the workplace in a clean and hygienic manner- Ensure service stations are ready to go with all preparation required- Ensure that all proton control equipment is available in each location- Ensure all areas are left clean at the end of the shift

Workplace Health & Safety (WHS):
- Follow and comply with Work Health Safety policies, procedures and guidelines- Correctly use all safety and personal protective equipment- Act as a role model by demonstrating safe work behaviours- Report WHS incidents, injuries and safety activities to your direct Manager and First Aid at the time it occurs- Promote proactive hazard/ near miss reporting. Report any hazards or near-miss incidents to your direct Manager and the People & Culture Director- Attend Work Group Meetings to discuss and promote safety

**Education**:
Desirable:
- Food Handling certification- Barista qualifications- RSA

Languages: Fluent English

**Skills**:
- Customer service skills- Be able to handle multiple priorities simultaneously- Knowledge of Food Safety requirements- Ability to interact in a professional and positive manner

**Experience**:
- Knowledge of point of sale systems.

- Ability to work flexible working hours including but not limited to weekends, evenings and public holidays- Adhere to the Company Code of Conduct policy- Represent the Company well internally and externally; convey a professional and positive image of the organization and business affiliates- Be able to work in all weather conditions including sun and rain, hot and cold climates, indoor and outdoor work- To carry out all duties and responsibilities as assigned by your Direct Manager, General Manager or any member of the Management Team- Adhere to the Employee Handbook content and requirements- You are required to be physically fit.

Pay Conditions:
This is a casual position from October to April, with the ability to work flexible hours including weekends, evenings and public holidays during the season.

The hourly rates are in accordance with the Amusement, Events and Recreation Award. Food & Beverage Team Members aged 20 years or older are paid at a Grade 2 hourly rate of $28.46 per hour (includes casual loading).-
