We are looking for someone with a big personality that can have fun with and entertain our guests.
You will ideally also have a passion for hotels and hospitality and be driven for experience that will further your career within the company.This role will be predominantly morning based overseeing Hotel Alba's food & beverage operations.ResponsibilitiesMaintain a harmonious relationship with other members of the service team.Participate in all rostered theoretical and on the job training sessions.Adhere to all established cashiering policies and procedures.Ensure the protection and maintenance of all operating equipmentProvide strong leadership to the food and beverage team, including supervision, guidance and support to achieve departmental goals.Train and manage a team of food service professionals that meets, and exceeds, departmental goals and guest satisfaction.Oversee daily operations of the food and beverage department, including scheduling, inventory management and cost control.Ensure exceptional customer service standards are maintained at all times, addressing customer enquiries, feedback and complaints promptly, and professionally.Ensure compliance with all health, safety and sanitation regulations, conducting regular inspections and implementing corrective actions as necessary.Providing ongoing training and development opportunities for team members to enhance their skills, knowledge and performance.Maintain open and effective communication with management, team members, and other departments to ensure smooth operations and alignment with organizational objectives.Monitor food and beverage quality, presentation and portion control to ensure consistency and customer satisfaction.Coordinate and oversee special events, banquets and catering service, as required, ensuring seamless execution and customer satisfaction.Complete all assigned opening and closing duties.Give assistance to other departments or outlets when required.Attend all scheduled meetings.Perform any other duties as directed by supervisor / manager.Skills & ExperienceHands on approach to work alongside your teamStrong Food and Beverage service skillsPrecise attention to detail with an intense desire to strive for excellence alwaysA confident, proactive and thorough problem solver, with strong conflict resolution skillsThe natural ability to remain calm under pressure when responding to last minute changesFlawless presentation and grooming together with the ability to connect with VIP guests and visitors is a must.Responsible Service of Alcohol certificateFull Australian Working Rights.
