Following the commissioning of our mine and concentrator at Mt Holland in 2024, we recently celebrated our first production of battery-grade lithium hydroxide at our Kwinana Refinery.
We are now a fully integrated mine-to-refinery operation, supplying high quality lithium hydroxide to global markets and enabling approximately 1 million electric vehicles to go on the road, every year for the next 50 years.

Our team is looking for someone preferably with mining or resources experience to offer Senior HRBP services to our business.This role will see you working closely with operational leaders at our Kwinana Refinery and develop strong partnerships that will enable you to assess and anticipate HR-related needs and support organisational efficiency.
You'll handle complex employee relations issues, be able to influence our leaders, manage change, develop and review People and Culture policy, and lead the implementation of strategic initiatives across Covalent.This is a permanent, full-time role based in our Kwinana head office with flexible working options available.Key ResponsibilitiesActive participation in the establishment of a health and safety culture.Provide Senior HR business partnering support and subject matter expertise to leaders of assigned departments throughout the employment lifecycle.Support organisational effectiveness by developing and implementing solutions aligned to Covalent Lithium's strategic and operational plans.Lead and support managers through performance management issues, employee grievances, workplace disputes and coordinate investigations where required, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements and company policies and procedures.Partner with managers and the Talent Acquisition team to support high quality Talent Attraction and RetentionDevelopment and implementation of human resources strategies, programs, policies, procedures and new HR initiativesAct as a trusted advisor and coach on workforce planning, change management, performance and engagement initiatives.Role RequirementsRelevant university degree in Human Resources Management and/or Industrial Relations, or equivalent.A minimum of 7 years' generalist experience including both strategic and operational HR, preferably within the mining or resources sectors.Successfully worked collaboratively with senior leadership to support strategic business goalsA professional that connects easily with people and can build and maintain long-term relationships across all levels of an organisation.An inquisitive approach, seeking to understand key stakeholders within and across geographically dispersed teams, influencing where needed.A competitive remuneration package commensurate with the role, candidate experience, skills and qualifications will be offered.Our team members are encouraged to bring their whole selves to work.
