Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Serve as a strategic advisor to the Site Director, actively contributing to planning, policy development, and business decision-making.
  • Oversee HR operations across the organisation, ensuring the consistent delivery of strategic, high-impact, and risk-conscious solutions to complex workforce challenges.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the HR Business Partnering team to deliver consistent, high-quality HR support across the business.
  • Lead enterprise-wide talent and succession planning to strengthen leadership pipelines and future capability
  • Managing Enterprise Agreement (EA) negotiations to support sustainable workforce outcomes
  • Offer strategic guidance on complex employee relations matters such as investigations, grievances, and misconduct, ensuring fair, timely, and compliant resolution.
  • Lead ongoing enhancements to HR systems along with policies, and service delivery to improve efficiency and support organisational success.
  • Develop and execute strategic people initiatives that align with the organisation's long-term goals and growth strategy.
  • Lead and advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives to cultivate a workplace culture built on respect, belonging, and equal opportunity.
  • Ensure adherence to employment legislation, representing Tronox in legal, regulatory, and industrial forums as needed.

To be successful in your application, you will ideally possess:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Proven experience in an HR Manager role, ideally within a site-based or industrial operations environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation and experience representing organisations in ER/IR matters.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and engage leaders to align HR strategies with business goals.
  • Experience in managing complex employee and industrial relations issues in dynamic, matrixed environments.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on building strong stakeholder relationships.
  • High attention to detail, with strong planning, time management, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Confident using HR systems, data tools, and technology to support decision-making.
