**The Role**:
The opportunity exists for a multiskilled administrator to join our team on a one-year fixed term basis to cover parental leave (with the possibility to extend). Based in Wetherill Park NSW and reporting to the NSW Factory Manager, you will be responsible for providing quality customer service and administrative duties to our internal and external stakeholders. The role will support the daily operations of the despatch/receiving department in NSW.
As the Despatch Administrator, you will be a highly motivated & passionate individual who thrives on being part of a team, whilst also being able to independently manage your workload and take initiative. You will be deeply passionate about delivering outstanding customer service and have the ability to multitask in a fast and challenging environment.
**You will be responsible for**:
- Liaising with both internal and external contractors/ customers
- Co-ordinating domestic and freight, shipments
- Assisting the Despatch Coordinator in managing daily operations
- Ensuring policies and procedures are maintained
- Assisting in stock takes as directed
- Ensuring correct paperwork is signed off and communicated back to sales/management.
- Ensuring goods are labelled accordingly
- Ensuring checking and completion of transport documentation
- Providing quality customer service both over the phone and face to face
- Reception and administration duties
**To be successful in this role, ideally you will have**:
- Proven working experience as a Despatch Administrator highly regarded
- Proficiency in inventory software, databases, and systems an advantage
- Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods
- Strong interpersonal, Time Management and organizational skills, ability to multitask.
- Self-motivated, reliable and ability to work independently
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Current driver's license
