We are currently seeking to recruit a **HR Services Specialist **to be based in our Boeing Defence Australia (BDA) Brisbane office for a 12 month temporary position
As part of the global Boeing Company, Boeing Defence Australia (BDA) employs over 3000 people at 13 sites across the country. Our people support advanced technology in aerospace and communications systems for the Department of Defence, and help to boost the Australian Defence Force's readiness to protect our nation.
In this role you will provide HR support and services to management and employees across the business to assist in achieving business objectives in accordance with Boeing's vision and strategy.
**Key accountabilities**
- Administer the case management system to provide basic HR advice to managers and employees
- Working through procedures to deliver on HR processes
- Participate in a range of HR Projects and tasks requiring HR involvement and knowledge
- Input data into the HRIS, preparing contracts and letters for managers and employees
- Assist the wider HR team through the delivery of effective and timely allocation and deployment of resources and contribute to HR business planning activities
- Ensuring 100% data integrity of the HRIS
- HR Administration - Preparing and managing HR files while inputting data into system
**About you**
- Experience working in a Human Resources Team or other business administration
- Ability to learn from other HR employees to provide best practice support for the business
- A basic understanding of HR processes and polices
- Well developed and effective written communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to consult with management, draft HR compliant letters and build effective working relationships with a diverse range of clients
- Ability to flourish in a team environment, sharing statement of work with others that may not be co-located
- Attention to detail with an ability to have high accuracy in repetitive work.
- Previous experience using HRIS systems; Aurion, SAP, Peoplesoft and or Workday would be desirable.
