Compliance ConsultantJoin Equifax, a global leader in data, analytics, and technology, as part of our Australia & New ZealandCompliance team.Reporting into our Head of Compliance, you will be part of a high performing teamcommitted to fostering a best in classrisk and compliance culture at Equifax, and help fuel the growthof an amazing business.As a member of the independent second line Compliance team, you will providespecialised advice andexpertise on compliance risk to the business units and wider Compliance & Risk team.
You will be a firstpoint of contact in support of product development, sales initiatives and compliance investigations.You willwork closely with Legal, Risk and various Product teams across the Equifax product lines to provide timely,efficient, practical and high calibre compliance services to support the business achieve its strategic objectives.What You'll DoProvide specialised advice on compliance risk to the Equifax ANZ business units to ensure that the company's activities are compliant with relevant legislation and Equifax policies.Provide guidance on compliant solutions in support of projects, product development & management and sales initiatives.Interpret legislation and regulatory guidance, assess the impact and develop practical operational guidance and support.Develop and maintain a good knowledge and understanding of all laws and industry standards affecting Equifax's operations in Australia and New Zealand.Support the Head of Compliance and wider Compliance team to develop and encourage a culture of compliance, including by developing effective relationships with key business staff to ensure that a culture of compliance is embraced and supported within the business.Complete oversight activities designed to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations and policies, and oversee the need for any corrective action.Point of contact for complaints and internal regulatory & compliance investigations.What Experience You Need3+ years of experience as a Compliance or Legal professional.Experience assisting business units in ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.Strong knowledge and understanding of compliance risk and compliance frameworks for businesses in regulated industries.The ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with competing priorities.What could set you apartKnowledge and understanding of compliance requirements in financial services.Experience acting as the point of contact for compliance investigations.Experience advising on risks relevant to business proposals or regulatory change.This role will suit those that are happy to collaborate and focus on practical solutions while also maintaining compliance with applicable laws and regulations.What's in it for you?
