**About the Role**:
This role will support the develop and management of the TMBLs retail banking, deposit and lending product portfolios and ensure the TMBL brands maintain their market position through providing competitive customer value propositions.
Reporting through to the Product Management Lead, you will be accountable for actively supporting the retail banking, deposit and lending product portfolios to deliver optimal performance and increase the value of the bank, balancing commercial outcomes with TMBLs mutual ethos and customer experience. Working across our four bank brands, you will support the growth strategy and targets of each of the branks brand
You will support product managers define and develop annual product strategies to differentiate our products from our competitors and provide recommendations on pricing, volume and profit targets as well as sales performance measures geared to delivering profit and product penetration objectives.
You will support the strategical roll out of the product value propositions of all existing products on an ongoing basis to ensure they provide both customer value and solid financial outcomes.
Duties will include:
- Support Product Management
- Support the process for creating product positioning, value propositions, and product messaging that resonate with the buying audience. Ensure all relevant internal stakeholders and external partners have input
- Assist with identifying key customer segments with understood customer behaviours/ characteristics upon which income growth strategies can be built.
- Engage with internal teams and external partners in order to gain firsthand insight into the business needs & opportunities to deliver innovative, industry-transforming products
- Support decisions on growth and profitability improvement initiatives, including develop business plans to; effect pricing changes, identify new revenue streams, revenue deepening opportunities, and increase the quality of our customer experience.
- Test product features and messaging
- Understand members needs by gathering market and competitive intelligence, analysing the competitive and industry landscape
- Monitor member acquisition, retention and product performance dashboards.
- Competitor comparison and research
- Manage the interest rate change process within TBML
- Support Product delivery
- Support internal and external market validation and research
- Perform competitive analysis and deliver competitive intelligence
- Support launch planning and orchestrate execution of the commercial release of a product, including campaign strategy
- Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, innovative, and rapidly evolving industry and business organization
- Support the team identify, prevent and remediate issues and regulatory demands
- Measure outcomes & report on product KPIs, iterate on our products to increase adoption & usage
- Product Development delivery
- Support the origination of new products in concert with customer needs and business model and correct design concepts and fundamental technology used for new products or improvement for existing ones.
- Assist with key projects, processes and performance reports, data and analysis
- Stakeholder management
- Support the development of effectively communication of business requirements, project, or campaign briefs to guide direct and cross functional teams
- Coordinate customer lifecycle activity, manage kick-off meetings, establish implementation and integration timeline, including key milestones, deadlines and success metrics
Your stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills will support the product design and the impact of your project support to the rest of the organisation in a way that gets people excited and involved.
