You'll lead all aspects of the setup and operation, including:Procurement of resources and equipmentFamily engagement and relationship building within the local Kotara South communityRecruitment and onboarding of a passionate and dedicated teamOverseeing general establishment tasks for a smooth and successful openingOnce the centre is operational, you will continue to provide strong leadership and ensure compliance, quality, and care are maintained at the highest standards .
Desired Skills and ExperienceEXPERIENCE/CRITERIAMinimum 3 years' experience in Centre DirectorroleProven ability in all areas of administrative procedure, curriculum development, parent and community liaison, staff professional development and trainingUnderstanding and working knowledge of WHS legislationDemonstrated knowledge of services requirements of the CCSS (childcare subsidy system) and ability to perform software application for compliance.Be willing to accept the role of Nominated Supervisor under the Children (Education and Care Services National Law Application) Bill 2010 and Education and Care Services National RegulationsDemonstrated ability to successfully support the Early Learning Years Framework with the centrecurriculumPrevious experience in successfully managing a budget for an Early Education CentreDemonstrated success in new centre setups or service launches (desirable)QUALIFICATIONSDiploma in Children's Services or Degree in Early Childhood Teaching as identified by Australian Children's Education and Care Quality Authority (ACECQA)Current First Aid Certificate, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management trainingWorking with Children Check verification numberNSW Department of Educationapproved child protection training certificateApplications for this position will only be considered if submitted through the following platforms: our careers page on our website, mnpeople, Indeed, Seek, or LinkedIn.To apply for this role, please submit an online application including:Cover Letter (maximum 2 pages) - Please address the selection criteria, along with the key knowledge and experience outlined in the role description.
