Mastermind Customer-Centric Digital Growth
Elevate Engagement and Experience
Inspire, lead and influence across the organisation
About Stadiums Queensland
Stadiums Queensland manages, operates, and promotes the State's major sports, recreation, and entertainment venues, including some of Queensland's most iconic facilities. From international sporting fixtures to sold-out concerts and community celebrations, SQ's nine venues deliver unforgettable experiences for millions of visitors each year.
With the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games on the horizon and a major expansion of its asset portfolio underway, SQ is entering an exciting growth phase — creating a unique opportunity for an experienced digital leader to make a genuine and lasting impact.
About the Role
The Digital Media Manager will be the driving force behind a bold and cohesive digital media strategy, leading a talented team to elevate SQ's online presence, deliver a consistent brand voice, and create an exceptional customer experience.
Working from SQ's Milton corporate office while influencing and collaborating across dispersed venues, this role will:
Develop and deliver innovative strategies to grow social media reach, engagement, and brand storytelling.
Enhance both in-venue customer experiences and digital touchpoints, ensuring patrons connect seamlessly with SQ's services and stories — before, during, and after their visit.
Oversee SQ's digital assets, including website enhancement, creative content production, and rights-managed media.
Drive consistency in digital processes and content across multiple venues and stakeholders.
Track, analyse, and report on performance metrics to deliver measurable growth and continual improvement.
Manage budgets for digital campaigns, product development, and website enhancements.
Build and mentor a high-performing, customer-focused team aligned with SQ's values.
This is a rare opportunity to shape how SQ tells its story — from showcasing iconic events like the Edinburgh Tattoo and Monster Jam to highlighting Queensland's athletes and untapped offerings like SQ's catering services.
About You
The successful candidate will bring :
Significant experience in digital media, with proven success delivering strategy and execution from the ground up.
A customer-centric and innovative mindset, with the ability to enhance user experience both online and on-site.
Strong leadership skills with a track record of building high-performing, creative teams.
Expertise in website content management systems, social media platforms, and digital storytelling.
The ability to influence and align stakeholders across multiple locations to deliver a unified digital approach that showcases SQ's patrons, athletes and performers in a compelling digital narrative.
Exceptional communication skills with capability to work collaboratively with diverse internal and external partners.
Experience in the sports, events, entertainment, or government sectors will be highly regarded, as will a relevant tertiary qualification.
This is more than a digital role — it's a chance to lead a journey of elevation and transformation at one of Queensland's most high-profile organisations.
