Associate Director Records Management

**How will I Help?**

The Associate Director Records Management works within the Global Transaction Services (GTS) business line which is a critical pillar of Westpac's Institutional Bank (WIB).

You will facilitate improvement of record management practices across GTS including development and implementation of record management capabilities, maintenance of procedures, training to GTS staff and point of contact for queries and providing input/advice into projects.

Key to your success is your track record of strong verbal and written communication skills, and your proven ability in managing diverse and multiple stakeholder groups. In return, you will have the opportunity to grow and develop your skills in a dynamic team environment.

Other key accountabilities include:

- Records management support for GTS and work collaboratively with GTS Business Controls and Monitoring, WIB Data Office and Enterprise Records Management Policy and Governance
- Being involved in the development and implementation of record management capabilities across GTS
- Provide support for record management queries arising from the GTS business and projects in implementing the Records Management Policy
- Develop and maintain training and other support material as required for GTS
- Participate in the working groups and other forums to support the organisation by ensuring requirements are understood and processes and controls are appropriate
- Present at regular forums to communicate and promote the importance of records management requirements

**What do I need?**

To be successful you will have the following:

- Strong experience in a records management role in a large complex organisation
- Experience working with records management governance frameworks, strategies, policies, guidelines and systems in collaboration with key stakeholders
- Experience in a customer facing role managing stakeholders across a diverse portfolio of business groups
- Awareness of records management standards and legislation
- Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline
