We are currently looking for a qualified Associate/Associate Director to work within our Sydney office leading some of NSW's high profile defence projects. This role will perform traditional quantity surveying functions as well as offering strategic guidance, procurement strategies and commercial management to ensure projects are financially sound and aligned with long-term operational goals.

Responsibilities
  • Attending and facilitating client and consultant meetings
  • Assigning project tasks and responsibilities
  • Implementing and ensuring commercial processes are being adhered to
  • Providing commercial support to team members
  • Implement and maintain Quality Assurance processes
  • Implementing and improving process and procedures
  • General Quantity Surveying duties required to support service levels
  • Building, mentoring and management of a small team of Quantity Surveyors
Qualifications
  • Formal QS, Civil Engineering or Construction Degree
  • RICS/AIQS Membership
  • DISP Security Clearance
  • Demonstrated defence sector experience
  • Extensive experience in cost estimating and planning software/ CostX
  • A demonstrated track record of winning and managing major projects
  • Proven leadership potential
