About You:
- Passion for the industry
- Relevant experience in a Reservations and/or Group Reservations similar role
- Full working rights in Australia (no sponsorship available)
- Enthusiastic to escalate your career
- Self-motivated, driven and energized in a fast-paced environment
- Armed with smart solutions and a can-do attitude
About the job:
- Identify guest needs, recommend appropriate room types, and explain rates, guarantees, and policies
- Handle special requests and provide detailed information about hotel services and facilities
- Maximize revenue using effective sales techniques and by ensuring data accuracy in the reservation system
- Availability for ad hoc site inspections and other duties requires you to be full time on premises
- Resolve guest issues or escalate when needed, documenting concerns as required
- Support training, scheduling, and coaching of team members while serving as a role model
- Maintain a professional appearance, protect company assets, and uphold Marriott policies and service standards
- Build strong relationships with guests and colleagues through clear communication and genuine service
- Occasionally support operations at other Marriott properties as needed
